The client

Our fintech client was aiming to accelerate the performance of its newly promoted managers. The company had scaled from 50 to 200 people in just over a year, and saw a gap in the capabilities of leaders to be able to lead high performing teams in a very fast-changing hybrid working environment. 

They identified that this lack of leadership capability was limiting the business’ ability to scale at pace, and had received company-wide feedback indicating that there was an immediate need to provide support to leaders at this level. 

Key Deliverables

  • Slate Digital developed and delivered 5 masterclasses focusing on key aspects of leadership aligned to the company’s values and mission
  • Delivery of 5 group coaching sessions to relevant leaders, focusing on individual as well as group dynamics and support systems
  • Creation and delivery of job aids and support materials for participants and their line managers 


Over 70% of participants reported an increase in confidence in their ability and skill level in terms of managing people. 

Internal NPS scores of managers at this level increased.

Two participants received special consideration for promotion based on the accelerated performance of the individuals as well as for their team.
